Every Storm Runs Out Of Rain

Your darkest, most eerie season is upon you now. It seems as if the clouds are never-ending; with the only patch of light coming from another lightning strike imposing its power onto your life. How did you get here? How long will you be here?

In the midst of this clouded existence lie clouded thoughts. But rest assured… this is not the first storm. We’ve been here before. Because of this, we know that after every storm comes a wave of “new”. New plants(power) have emerged after being dehydrated from the lack of water(resistance). The sun seems brighter now having experienced the darkness. You start to notice the beauty in the simplicities of life, as they were previously hidden from sight.

That’s why I welcome the storm. The storm is an indication that a new world is about to be revealed… and that new world requires a new outlook to forge. I’m not afraid to be drenched from the rain because I already know how it feels to walk around with that weight. Surviving today’s storm equips us with the tools to tackle tomorrow’s. And I don’t consider how long tomorrow’s storm will last, because every storm eventually runs out of rain.
