90 Days of Code: Relapse

I’m titling this post Relapse because, yet again, I fell victim to overwhelm, distraction, and unproductivity on my journey to code.
Coincidentally, it’s been almost a full year since my last foray into the digital jungle that is programming. In my first Medium post of this series, I said that I was done failing myself and that things would be different at that time. I thought I had convinced myself that if I could go a full 90 days straight without missing a coding session then nothing would stop me. Well… it’s safe to say that I was wrong again.
I guess this is just how things go when you’re trying to learn something with a steep learning curve. Your commitment to the process will be constantly tested. People in your life won’t respect your goals any more than you will. The hardships of life don’t stop occurring just because you’re preoccupied with learning something new. Life doesn’t stop happening. If you find the process valuable and worth it, you will continue on. If you don’t find the process valuable or worth it, you’ll relapse like me.

The journey starts again. This time, with intention. Web3…I’m talking to you.
